3. Comfort Being comfortable is the key to a successful trip. Wearing a T-shirt and shorts is fine in the day, but when youre sitting for hours at night when the temperature drops, youll get extremely cold if you dont have warm clothes on and a number of layers.

You need boots rather than trainers for night fishing and a spare pair of socks is a good idea. They dont take up much room and you will be glad of them if your feet get wet.
